Black Friday Survival Guide

The holiday season seems to feel like survival mode but I’m here to remind you of a few important things, so grab a cup of hot cocoa, and get comfy.

Nothing is more frustrating than missing out on an opportunity for a deal during holiday shopping. Black Friday has become an American tradition because it’s that one day of the year when stores offer deeply discounted items. Some shoppers go out for the thrill of the hunt and some shoppers have specific people they want to mark off their Christmas list. Whichever reason you choose make sure you go with a plan, write a list and check it twice. The last thing you want to be doing is purchasing lame gifts from Walgreens because you forgot to add your uncle’s name to the gift list (trust me, no one wants another tin can of caramel corn)

Next, you'll want to make sure you do your research. All these stores have one thing in common, they’re competing for your dollars which means you want to make sure you know which stores offer the best deals. Google is your best friend, most major retailers are shouting their best deals from the rooftops. You can save hours of wasted time by knowing exactly what you’re looking for.

*Bonus tip - Black Friday is not the day to shop slowly and carefully! If you plan on visiting multiple stores, get the most out of your time, be short, sweet, and straight to the register.*

Some people have a knack for finding amazing deals, but what’s even better is when you can share the experience with your favorite shopping buddy. Find a dependable group to go with, there’s power in numbers, plus if things get rowdy you'll have some backup.

You can find the best deals early, so it's worth checking out what stores have on sale each week. For example, right now I’m offering a book package deal that won’t be available after Black Friday. I’ve even included a plush bear to sweeten the deal, so if you have a book lover on your Christmas list cross off their name now and shop the ‘Three Paws’ book series. Plus you can shop directly from the comfort of your own home, with no long wait lines or crowded aisles. Check out my BOOK SHOP now!

I hope you enjoyed this 2022 Black Friday Survival Guide, happy shopping!
